    I was at this whaleing station when I was a little kid . I have never forgot the horrible sight of seeing men walk the lenght of these huge whales wearing long spiked shoes,carrying long handled huge knives. They would cut the blubber as they walked ,finally hooking wenches to the strips of blubber and stripping it from the whale.What a horribly wrong thing for man to have done, for dog food ???????
