Thanks for a great photo display, stories, and video — complete with bicyclist! This occasion recalls the 50th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge in 1987, when Bill Graham and many others helped organized the Bridge Walk. The STAR ALLIANCE foundation for peace was there with banner, peace flags, and large helium balloons that provided a nice touch of levity as the roadbed of the bridge flattened out with half a million people on it, wasn't it? — certainly enough to cause legitimate concerns!

As soon as when a woman hears that, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, she will get collapsed. Once all the tests and mammography is done, the patient goes through a list of emotional stress related to every step in the treatment.

I have made a small attempt to share some breast cancer facts and what actually happens to the patient while going through the process of chemotherapy and radiation.

Wetlands reduce flooding by filling with water. Levees cause extreme flooding in areas that have developed for thousands of years producing the rich farmland and decreasing flooding by giving water a place to go. Narrow minded self embellishment by refusing to live with natural fluxes is a terrible thing to base any decision on ever. Get rid of the levees, adapt to nature, and you will benefit. Fill in the wetlands with islands of 16 foot tall grass, and you will cause more flooding while spreading Tule Grass all over the place ruining farm land to cause pesticde/herbicide to pollute the waters, sicken all of us and kill fish. Please see the broader view, not the immediate bottom line.

I don't quite get it. Would companies who produce carbon pay these farmers to store the carbon? And then, how does the carbon get stored? Do the wetlands just soak it up from the air? If that's how it works, how do we know whose carbon is getting soaked up...?

The calculation to be done is more based on the MASS of the vehicle, not so much the dimensions of it. If you can determine the mass of your hypothetical starship, then you could compare it to the mass of my hypothetical (Space Shuttle) starship and calculate the fuel requirement from that ratio.
