Ken Mudge is an Associate Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Cornell University. He teaches both conventional and online distance learning courses in Plant Propagation and has written about the history of grafting. He has taught tropical and temperate agroforestry for two decades, and currently teaches a unique forest-based course on the temperate agroforestry practice known as forest farming. His research and extension activities focus on cultivation of non-timber forest products used in forest farming including shiitake mushrooms, American ginseng, and others. Along with co-author Steve Gabriel, Mudge is currently writing a book on forest farming.
