I'll put cognitive theory on my to do list for blogs. Its something I am keenly interested in but I'll have to do more research before I can write about it.

Best,
Cat

I didn't attend the inauguration, but I had a similar experience at a huge rally in Central Park to coincide with the UN second special session on disarmament, which I think was in 1988. Over half a million people attended, there were maybe two arrests (and two births), and people were so orderly and clean that the Park Service got through their cleaning job after only half a day - all the garbage cans were overflowing of course, but people just threw their garbage on the piles instead of leaving it randomly around. The good vibes were incredible there too.
