Hi Frank,

I believe that God is the ultimate truth. Human words, even those in the Bible, like scientific truth, can only point to God, not define God. Anything else, in my opinion, is making an idol of the Bible or science, depending on your beliefs. Politics and religion don't mix well, but I wouldn't keep God out of politics. Since when do we control God?

The faithful remnant in the Bible refers to those who remain faithful and true to God and His commandments. They were always set aside and always believed in Him as the source of truth and peace. I believe you have wrongly applied the Biblical truth to a man-made principle. The two are far apart. God's word does not change and cannot be bent to fit our political values. Politics and God do not mix well.
