Today's Earth Day at the Knowland Zoo was a spectacular wonderland! The new giraffe baby and his mother were fawning neck and neck, mane and mane and the mother nuzzled her baby's head over and over. The young giraffes had voracious appetites for the special tidbits for earth day and the young giraffe and the mother of the baby giraffe both drank water for us using the creek at the front of the exhibit. The sky tram was wonderful! The tigers, lions, bison and wild turkeys on the hill were out just for the sky trammers!

The weather was pefect and I can't wait for my next trip to the Oakland Zoo! I give it a 5 stars!
