Hell on earth comes to mind but I'm in the middle of nowhere in Central America and make my own diesel, booze, soap etc. I have fish ponds and a river and 4 very large gardens and every kind of fruit tree known to man. AC and heat not required and I have steady wind so I'm working on my windmill tower. When it's done I'll have a wind powered walk in cooler and separate walk in freezer in the garage. My river with a waterwheel chain driven to a 15 KW gen head could also work just fine. I read a book called " The coming oil wars" back in ?? 1976 or so. (AFTER The army had switched to desert camo.... and you didn't notice !). I planned this since then. I finally pulled it off when your dictator stole his second term and my houses were way overpriced... I bailed ! Gotta go feed the fish, chickens and horses while my milk goat ( I make cheese too ) cuts the lawn. Best wishes... You're gonna need all you can get ! What do I think ?
